Big Chill Names Hillary Frei as New Chief Marketing Officer
BOULDER, CO — Big Chill, an international professional-grade kitchen appliance manufacturer, expanded its leadership team with the appointment of Hillary Frei as the company’s new chief marketing officer. In her new role, Frei will lead and oversee marketing and digital strategy for the Colorado-based brand, seeking to expand brand awareness on a national level.
Prior to joining Big Chill, Frei served as executive vice president at KeyState Companies, a provider of investment subsidiaries and captive insurance companies for community banks, where she led sales and marketing efforts. Frei also held the vice president of marketing title at Pediped Footwear, the country’s second-largest children’s shoe company, heading marketing, e-commerce, and retail operations, delivering double-digit annual growth during her five-year tenure. Prior to Pediped, Frei dedicated six years to General Mills managing several brands, including Honey Nut Cheerios, Trix Cereal, and Progresso Soup. In her final role at General Mills, she worked to make merger and acquisition recommendations to the CEO and senior leadership.
Frei began her career on Wall Street as an investment banking analyst at Ryan, Beck & Company, which was acquired by Stifel Financial Corp. She has an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and a BS from Georgetown University.
