Industrial Automation and Motion Drive & Automation
Global Trade Shows Are Must Attend Events
Deutsche Messe’s global portfolio of industrial trade events are held in the most important economies around the world. In addition to launching the Industrial Automation and Motion Drive & Automation trade events here in North America, Deutsche Messe offers industrial trade events in Brazil (Motion Drive & Automation South America), China (Industrial Automation Beijing), Germany (HANNOVER MESSE), India (World of Industry), Russia (Industrial Automation/Motion Drive & Automation) and Turkey (World of Industry Automation) to name some of the many industrial trade fair offerings. All of the global events bring the experience of Deutsche Messe’s premier manufacturing trade show, HANNOVER MESSE, to these regions, to engineers and to a worldwide network of media, associations and local representations. In North America, the industrial shows are organized and managed by Deutsche Messe and its U.S. subsidiary, Hannover Fairs USA.
Launching in Chicago in September 2014, Motion Drive & Automation North America will be paired with the extremely successful Industrial Automation North America launched in 2012 and the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) to create the most comprehensive manufacturing technology trade show event in the Western Hemisphere. Attendees will be able to network with key industry players and learn from industry experts on the trade show floor and through a variety of conferences and training workshops.
Both are a perfect complement to IMTS. In 2012, Industrial Automation North America quickly distinguished itself as a must attend event where visitors previewed new global discrete manufacturing technologies and solutions. Speaking about his experience, Franz Gruber, CEO of U.S. subsidiary FORCAM Inc. based in Cincinnati, Ohio notes, “Soon after the founding of our U.S. subsidiary in May 2012, we were able to successfully present our company before a broad industry audience at Industrial Automation North America. After some 200 interviews, we arranged more than two dozen appointments with reputable companies. Forcam has been attending HANNOVER MESSE for many years and has been extremely successful reaching our target audience in Europe at this event. Because we are new to the North American and South American markets, we felt exhibiting at Industrial Automation North American would help us quickly secure a foothold in this part of the world.”
In September 2014, Industrial Automation exhibitors will again showcase the latest tools for competitive differentiation across all areas, such as aerospace, automotive, machine tool, medical, mechanical, food & beverage, as well as fluid power transmission. The show will offer attendees a first look at global solutions that focus on streamlining production lines, reducing and controlling costs. Speaking about its success introducing a robot arm into the North and South American markets, Thomas Visti, COO and Vice President of Universal Robots notes, “Exhibiting at Industrial Automation 2012, we raised awareness of our robot arm in North America. We exceeded our expectation of meeting around 100 new leads a day. It was a terrific show for us, offering potential end-users, partners and distributors. We also were pleased with the caliber of media that attended the show and the press interviews we held with North and South American media.”
Motion Drive & Automation North America 2014 will provide visitors with an effective showcase of products from every sector of mechanical power transmission and control technology, as well as pneumatics and hydraulics. This new event is a perfect tie in with Industrial Automation North America and IMTS. Hannover Fairs expects Motion Drive & Automation North America will be a huge success as domestic demand for motion, drive technology continues to increase.
