Moldafsky Joins Whirlpool Corp. as VP/General Manager, KitchenAid Brand (9/19)
Moldafsky, 41 years old, joins Whirlpool from Charles Schwab, a financial services company based in San Francisco, Calif. She will have overall accountability for the KitchenAid Brand including both major and portable appliances. Her appointment is effective October 1.

Moldafsky's most recent position at Charles Schwab was senior vice president, Retail Marketing. In this position she oversaw all marketing for Charles Schwab's retail offices, call centers, and Internet based customers. She previously served as vice president, Affluent Marketing, and was responsible for a wide variety of direct marketing and consumer loyalty initiatives. Prior to Charles Schwab, Moldafsky was senior vice president, Marketing at Applause Enterprises, a retail toy and gift company. Earlier in her career, Moldafsky gained significant experience in consumer marketing and sales at both American Express and Shearson Lehman Brothers.
Moldafsky earned a master's degree in business from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and she also holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan.
