Arcelik Wins Award from Banker of Financial Times (12/22)
"The Company Awards are about honoring companies that have demonstrated extraordinary qualities and performance," said Stephen Timewell, editor-in-chief of The Banker. "I am honored to present this award to Arcelik for attaining achievements in key areas we defined as prerequisites for winning."
The panel of The Banker selected 29 companies from 29 different countries from more than 500 invitations that were sent to companies in 35 countries. All are high profile companies in their specific markets, such as Volkswagen of Germany, Toshiba of Japan, and Total of France, just to name a few.
"Arcelik's international growth strategy combined with its dedication to investing and implementing new technologies are a few of the factors enabling it to attain its position among the top performers across the world," said Gunduz Ozdemir, CEO of Arcelik. "These awards further confirm Arcelik's escalating presence in the international markets."
The award presentation to Gunduz Ozdemir by Stephen Timewell took place at the Arcelik headquarters.
