Cognex to Host Free Machine Vision Seminars (8/22)
Cognex Corp., Natick Mass., a supplier of machine vision systems, announced that the company will host a series of half-day seminars demonstrating how new vision sensor technology can be used to solve automated inspection tasks in the medical, food and beverage, consumer products, and electronics industries.
Designed primarily for automation engineers, the free seminars will discuss the fundamentals of machine vision technology, and will feature live demonstrations of Cognex In-Sight™ vision sensors performing a variety of tasks, such as measuring part dimensions; verifying the correct assembly of components; locating randomly oriented parts; and identifying 1D and 2D codes on parts.
The seminars will also demonstrate how new built-in Ethernet communications enable In-Sight vision sensors to be linked across the factory, managed from remote locations, and monitored by any level of the enterprise.
Spring seminars will begin Aug. 21, 2001, and will be held in major U.S. cities. You may register for a seminar online at www.cognex.com/seminar or by calling 800/677-2646.
