Technology Research Corporation Receives Additional Business From Major Air Conditioner Manufacturer (11/4)

CLEARWATER, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 2, 2004--Jerry T. Kendall, President and Chief Executive Officer of Technology Research Corporation (TRC), (NASDAQ:TRCI), announced that the Company has received additional orders totaling $2,828,883 from a major appliance manufacturer for its Fire Shield(R) LCDI power cords to be used on room air conditioners. Deliveries are scheduled to commence during the current quarter and run through the fiscal year.

Kendall said, "We are excited to have been selected for additional business by this important major appliance manufacturer. Their initial order, which was announced on September 20, 2004, was for $998,050 which brings the total of announced orders for this customer to $3,826,933." He added, "To date, our total announced orders for the air conditioner application now exceed $11,000,000. Negotiations with other air conditioner manufacturers for additional volume are still on-going."

Technology Research Corporation designs, manufactures and markets electrical safety products that save lives, protect people from serious injury from electrical shock and prevent electrical fires in the home and workplace. These products have worldwide application. The Company also supplies power monitoring and control equipment to the United States Military and its prime contractors.
