Swiss Chemical company Clariant Masterbatches just announced a liquid vehicle technology (LVT) developed to eliminate problems that have prevented wider use of liquid color and additive concentrates in extrusion blow molding of polyolefins.
The company provides fresh air for hot air ovens and steamers used in industrial applications. Under the Haventic product brand, users have at their disposal a complete series of newly developed fans equipped with electronically commutated synchronous motors (EC motors) with a high energy density in a small footprint; installation depths are just 83 mm to 103 mm.
Turboden—an Italian company and designer manufacturer of Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) turbogenerators, which harness heat to generate electrical power from renewable sources such as solar energy, biomass, geothermal energy and waste heat—entered the U.K. market with installations of two biomass-fueled combined cooling, heat and power plants at British Sky Broadcasting and Heathrow Airport.
