Johnson Controls Acquires Five York Branches from M&A Supply Co.
MILWAUKEE — Johnson Controls acquired M&A Supply Co.’s five York branches in the southeast markets of South Carolina, Georgia and Florida, the companies announced.
The branches will become part of the Source 1 HVAC Supply network which is the Unitary Products Group Factory Direct distribution organization.
“This acquisition is in line with our growth strategy and will allow us to accelerate the growth in these key HVAC markets,” said Liz Haggerty, vice president and general manager, Unitary Products Group, Johnson Controls. “It will also allow M&A to focus on its core markets of Tennessee and Alabama and continue to grow the York brand by expanding its network in those markets.”
Source 1 is the York distributor of factory authorized service parts and residential accessories for all Johnson Controls Unitary Products residential and light commercial HVAC equipment in other key markets in the U.S.

York products from Johnson Controls include energy-efficient, residential central air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces and accessories, and innovative light-commercial, packaged heating and cooling systems marketed through a national distribution network and delivered to home-and building-owners through qualified York heating and cooling contractors.
