DCS Expands Indoor Kitchen Line

DCS by Fisher & Paykel has added to its indoor kitchen line with the launch of its 36-inch side-by-side refrigerator. Combining technology and stylish design, the 36-inch refrigerator joins the company’s indoor professionally styled kitchen lineup with state-of-the-art features, beverage chiller and tri-sensor control system.

A humidity drawer ensures the perfect environment for fruit and vegetables while the temperature drawer offers different settings for a range of items like meat and cheeses. The beverage chiller is an adjustable environment to keep beverages cooler than the rest of the refrigerator. DCS’ tri-sensor control system supports a three-thermostat system to ensure accurate regulation of temperatures for the freezer and fresh food compartments.

The refrigerator includes temperature controlled and defrost mechanisms, high-efficiency compressor and improved insulation. According to the company, the side-by-side refrigerator uses 40% less energy than the conventional models sold in 2001 and uses 20% less energy than required by current federal standards.

Lastly, the refrigerator was ergonomically designed with hidden hinges for a clean aesthetic. With counter depth design, this DCS installs flush with cabinetry. The 70-inch tall configuration provides convenient access to 13.5 cubic feet of refrigerator space and 8 cubic feet of freezer space. Multiple drawers and shelves allow for maximum storage of large plates and easy loading and unloading of items.

Boost ACR Energy Efficiency with Copper MicroGroove Tubes

ON-DEMAND: Today's market is challenging manufacturers of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment to increase energy efficiency, use less materials and reduce impact on the environment. The superior heat transfer of smaller-diameter copper tubes with inner grooves is helping manufacturers meet these demands with high-performance compact coils that reduce energy requirements, transfer heat more efficiently and lower costs by using less material while using familiar manufacturing techniques.
