Touchscreens have greatly simplified and improved human-machine interfacing (HMI) in a wide range of applications, and as touch sensors have evolved beyond the initial front-face-active display overlays towards sleek, fully integrated and embedded touch interfaces, the opportunities and markets for touch-based computing are growing very rapidly. A new touch control concept employing a touch sensitive mirror can further expand the range of potential applications.
