In paint systems, material preparation consists of cleaning machines, phosphate machines and related dry off ovens and cooling tunnels. Paint application equipment such as E-Coat, powder coat, high solids wet application, and flow coat are provided in addition to water wash spray booths with sludge recovery systems that reduce booth maintenance to a minimum. Curing ovens are available in convection, infra-red and combination systems.

Porcelain packages consist of washer and etching cleaning machines with related dryer and cooling tunnels. Application equipment, provided, is powder coat, flow coat, wet spray with related dryers if applicable and cooling tunnels if required. Curing is done in 1,400°F to 1,650°F porcelain firing furnaces. KMI does partial or total turnkey systems.
