Guidelines for Editorial Submissions

Guidelines for the Preparation/Submission of Press Releases for Appliance Design.

1. Be specific. Make sure you answer who, what when, where, why and how.
2. Include a contact name, phone number, e-mail and mailing address for further information.
3. Include photographs or slides, if available, when submitting via e-mail. Do not include image attachments if sending electronically.
4. Submit electronic images for feature articles only. Be sure to submit high-resolution (min: 300 dpi) jpeg or tif files; pdf files, min: 1,200 dpi.
5. Case histories and information of a technical nature, as well as News, People on the Move and Meetings releases should be sent to:

8. Specify topic and issue. After reviewing the editorial calendar, please mark envelopes, faxes, e-mail and releases with the issue/topic for which you are targeting the release.
9. One release only. Please send only one copy of the press release to the appropriate editor.
10. Select one: e-mail, fax or regular mail. Please use only one of these means for providing us with your press release.
