ETCO Specialty Terminals featuring dual gauge materials can combine two functions that were previously unavailable in a single part, such as a rigid tab or connector with a formable “ear section” mating end. Suitable for designing terminals and connectors incorporating multiple bends and forms, this technology saves metal, reduces labor, and eliminates multiple parts. Allowing design engineers to specify parts 0.032 in. thick on one end and 0.016 in. thick at the other, the electronic terminals can be fabricated from virtually all alloys in sizes from 0.008 in. to 0.9 in. thick with ±0.002 in. tolerances, depending upon materials and design requirements.
