The "perfect" fry. Appetizingly served. Hot and crisp. It's among the final test for Fenwal temperature controls in the long food processing cycle.
We help the food industry stay hot . . . or cold. From seedling to serving tray we've helped engineer away some of the most critical temperature control problems of equipment suppliers in the food processing and preparation industry. From our legendary THERMOSWITCH® temperature controller to our newest electronic board level controllers, equipment suppliers have come to base their reputation on our reputation.
When you look at our more than 250 products, and add our engineering support and services, you'll understand why Fenwal is big in food. And it doesn*t end there. Fenwal has been supplying industrial customers with precision temperature control equipment since 1935.

Need to protect small motors and transformers from over-heating? Try these three new snap action, bimetallic temperature limiting switches from Thermik.
The Type SP1 Temperature Limiting Switch is applied where resettable overheating protection is required, but where automatic resetting and equipment restarting is not desired or permitted. This controllable reset function can be used to provice increased personnel safety.
The Type SW1 Current Sensitive, Temperature Limiting Switch is ideal for transformer protection. Under an electrical overload, the thermal conditions surrounding the coil determine the trip response. However, under a short circuit condition, a series resistor produces added heat to speed the trip response. Like the Type SP1, the operating voltage must be switched off and substantial cooling must take place to reset.
The Type SZ1 Current Sensitive, Thermal Protector is used in applications where the trip time needs to vary greatly in response to the load current, and automatic reset is either desired or is not objectionable.

The PEPI Model E is a creep action thermostat ideal for appliance applications. The Model E is a low profile thermostat available with or without factory-attached lead wires. The opposite end terminations offer flexible installation options.
The Model E is available with a choice of two different bimetallic elements to cover a variety of applications. The bimetallic element carries the circuit current. This new thermostat had already been evaluated for use in heating pads and electric blankets and is available with preset nominal calibration temperature from 30°C to 90°C. The Model E has contact ratings of 2 amps/125 volts AC resistive.
