MOTOROLA SEMICONDUCTOR
The 68HC908MR8 microcontroller has been optimized for motor control applications such as refrigerators, clothes washers, and HVAC systems. The chip offers enhanced performance by extending the reliability and data retention of the embedded flash memory to typically 100,00 write/ erase cycles and 50-year data retention. As a result, most embedded systems that require non-volatile storage of temporary or changing data no longer need separate electrically erasable programmable read only memory chips.

AMETEK ROTRON
A new design for the Minijammer line of compact, brushless DC blowers incorporates a state-of-the-art programmable, digital signal processor and pressure-sensing device in its integrated electronics package. The new features allow designers both increased flexibility for direct customization by application and a much simpler control system when utilizing the on-board pressure-sensing device. The Mini-jammer series blowers can be used in either vacuum or pressure applications and are suitable for applications such as medical appliances, fuel cells, business machines, computers, air sampling devices, and others.
