The TC6xx family of fan managers feature single and dual SMBus fan speed controllers with fan-fault and over-temperature protection. The devices adjust fan speed according to temperature instead of continuously running a system's fan at maximum speed. They can also detect fan wear-out before the fan stops rotating by reading RPM data from up to two individual fans.

LO-COG Series 9000 brush-commutated DC motors and gearmotors feature seven-slot skewed armatures to minimize magnetic cogging (reluctance torque) even at low speeds, thus providing smooth and quiet operation. Commutators are diamond turned after armature assembly to ensure optimum concentricity and long brush life. The motors can achieve peak torques up to 77 oz.-in. and speeds up to 8,250 RPM.
