Desoutter SD Screwdrivers Provide Key to Greater Productivity

With demand for increased efficiency, but lower unit manufacturing cost, Desoutter has developed its new range of ergonomic SD Screwdrivers and accessories. The SD tools are compact with similar size tools producing only half the torque, making the tool easier to manuever.

A new motor design has tools running for typically greater than 3 million cycles before a routine service. Improvements in the porting have resulted in an increase in power and speed of 30-140% in most applications for a given torque.

Tests to ISO5393 show that the SD shut off tools can give torque repeatability better than ±4%, the clutch adjustment being tamperproof to prevent adjustment after calibration.

The SD screwdriver range is the leader in its field.
