CONTROL RESOURCES

SmartFan Nimbus is a compact, TRIAC-based fan control designed to automatically control single-phase AC fans in the HVAC and electronics markets. It regulates fan speed from a 4 to 20 mA control signal, 0 to 10 VDC control signal, or up to three remote temperature sensors. It also provides automatic voltage and frequency detection, and current ratings up to 7.5 amps. Benefits include temperature regulation, noise reduction, energy savings and increased fan life.

ALLEGRO MICROSYSTEMS

Three-phase brushless DC motor controller/driver IC has 3 amp capable DMOS outputs and on-chip commutation logic. This smaller, more cost-effective next-generation solution is based on DMOS technology that offers that offers these features: pulse-width-modulated current control of three-phase brushless motors; low Rds(on) DMOS outputs; synchronous rectification; 3 volt and 5 volt logic voltage compatibility; and configurable slow, fast and mixed decay modes. The device is designed to meet the needs of major appliances, medical equipment and office machines.

ELECTRODYNE CO.

Reance SF represents a new class of elastic rare earth magnet material. With up to 250 percent elongation, Reance SF is the first flexible magnet material to exhibit this high degree of elasticity without any reduction of magnetic properties. It also possesses superior flexibility and a high resistance to mechanical fatigue. While its elasticity makes it suited for special applications, its magnetic properties also make it a viable candidate wherever a magnet stronger than the highest ceramic grades is required.
