Thermtrol's Self-Hold 7AM Motor Protector: An Effective Solution

Thermtrol's innovative Self-Hold 7AM thermal protector combines the quality protection of the Klixon (TM) bimetal disc with a self-holding feature. Designed to prevent overheating in motors and transformers, the Self-Hold 7AM offers the best attributes of one shot fuses and auto reset protectors in a single package. The Self-Hold 7AM, once activated in a fault condition, maintains its open state until power is removed. No reset button required. Simply remove the power and the device will cool and reset! This inherent design characteristic adds an extra level of security over automatic devices of any type. The Self-Hold 7AM is UL recognized as a Manual Reset Protector suitable for 85 Amps Locked Rotor current. Available exclusively through Thermtrol in both 120V and 240V versions, the Self-Hold 7AM is the reliable, cost effective solution for numerous applications.
