HURST MFG.

Model LS 35 mm and 42 mm direct-drive stepper motors offer high torque in a cost-effective package, making them ideal for cost competitive applications. The motors have a step angle of 7.5 degrees and a positional accuracy of +/-5 percent max. The Model LS is also available as a geared motor, where it is coupled with the traditional Hurst Model A gearbox. This solution offers up to 150 oz.-in. of torque. The motors are ideal for use in medical lab equipment, agitating/stirring machines, mail metering machines, and small printing equipment.

EBM INDUSTRIES

The BG2212 brushless DC motor is available for four different crossflow blower models built with impeller diameters of 40 mm, 45 mm, 60 mm and 65 mm, with impeller lengths ranging from 100 mm to 300 mm. Air delivery ranges from 41 cfm to 142 cfm. The enhanced performance of the four blower models includes a 100 percent increase in static pressure, a 32 percent increase in air delivery, and ambient temperature range of 0¿C to 60¿C. Other features include speed control and detection via a PWM input and Hall sensor output, peak motor efficiency of 68 percent, and long life as a result of electronic commutation and a permanently lubricated double ball bearing system.

INTERNATIONAL RECTIFIER

The IR2136 family of three-phase inverter-driver ICs for variable-speed drives integrates MOSFET or IGBT high voltage gate drivers with a range of protection functions at a 30 percent lower system cost than opto-coupler solutions. The ICs also simplify design by providing as much as a 30 percent lower component count and by shrinking gate drive circuit size byp up to 50 percent, compared to alternative solutions. The IC family is designed to decrease the cost and complexity of energy-efficient, electronically driven, variable-speed electric motors for home appliances such as clothes washers and air conditioners.
