DACOR, an industry leader in high-end kitchen appliance design, manufacturing and distribution, today announced the launch of the company's latest innovation, the Convection Microwave Oven (DCM24).

In addition to microwave convenience, the new product combines convection baking, broiling, and combination roasting and baking features to create the ultimate home cooking experience.

The DCM24 Convection Microwave Oven successfully combines 1.5 cubic feet of interior cooking capacity with a power output of 900 watts. The microwave also features a 15 3/8" diameter turntable; a stainless steel interior for an easy-to-clean, durable finish; high/low racks to handle multiple cooking tasks; and, an auto defrost for quicker cooking results. An optional 27" or 30" trim kit is designed for customized and integrated installations with DACOR wall and warming ovens.

To create a hassle-free and convenient cooking experience, the Convection Microwave Oven features a control panel with such easy-to-use functions such as a display screen for time, recipes, and cooking directions; easy on buttons; sensor cooking, which automatically detects when your food will be ready; and convection auto broil, roast and bake capabilities. In auto function modes, the DCM24 will automatically suggest various rack positions, cooking temperatures, bake time and even recommend the proper cooking utensils.

DACOR chefs have created a special cookbook that offers preparation advice and recipes exclusive to convection microwave and combination cooking.

Founded in 1965, and based in Pasadena, Calif., DACOR is one of the nation's leading high-end kitchen appliance manufacturers and was the first U.S.-based appliance company to earn the ISO 9001 Quality Standard Certification in all its facilities.
