The WT04170 is 4 mm, three-leg metal tactile dome, designed to provide a crisp, tactile tactile response for membrane switch applications. The dome has 170 grams of force and is specified to 500,000 cycles. The three-leg design allows the dome to present a tactile ratio higher than most 4 mm domes. A typical round 4 mm dome has a tactile ratio between 30 percent and 45 percent. The WT04170 has a tactile ratio between 60 percent and 75 percent. In addition, the three-leg design allow the domes to fit closely to each other where board space is limited.
