Carrier Corporation Acquires Developpement Systemes Group (4/6)

Carrier, a unit of United Technologies has acquired the Developpement Systemes Group, known through its brands NEXA and VIVRALIS, a designer and manufacturer of floor heating and cooling solutions in France.

Developpement Systemes is a recognized leader in the design and production of floor heating and cooling solutions using the Carrier Heat Pump technology in France.

“The partnership between Developpement Systemes and Carrier has delivered successful results over the last two years. This acquisition will open exciting opportunities to develop further innovative solutions for residential heating and cooling systems. Developpement Systemes is a customer oriented, innovative and quality driven organization and we are delighted that they are joining Carrier,” Patrick Protais, President, Carrier Europe, Middle East and Africa Residential & Light Commercial, said.

With headquarters in Rennes, France, Developpement Systemes employs 27 people with annual sales of approximately 10 millions Euros (US $ 12 million.)
