IBS 2006

GE Appliances

GE Profile dishwasher with SmartDispense technology automatically dispenses the proper amount of detergent based on soil level of dishes, water hardness in the home, and the cycle selection. Dishwasher holds 45-fl.-oz. bottle of liquid or gel detergent and an LED signals when bottle gets low. CleanSensor technology monitors water temperature, soil levels and dish load in every cycle and adjusts cycle as necessary. Sound-reduction package limits noise level to 47 dBA.

Thermador

Freedom Collection features modular refrigerator and freezer columns that allow built-in refrigeration to fit anywhere in the kitchen. The collection includes 24-in. and 30-in. fresh food columns; 18-in., 24-in., and 30-in. freezer columns; 18-in. and 24-in. dispenser freezers; and a 36-in. bottom freezer with two or three doors. Each column has its own compressor and evaporator to eliminate any odor transfer between compartments. Freedom Hinge permits flush mount to cabinetry.

Sharp Electronics

Insight Pro Microwave Drawer KB-6014LS is a 24-in. built-in unit designed to accommodate popular cabinet sizes found in U.S. kitchens, providing consumers more options when considering where to place the microwave. It can be installed easily in an island or in a run of base cabinets. The 1,000-W microwave opens automatically with a touch of the control panel and provides convenient reach-in access. Touch controls and LCD are angled upwards for easy use. Sensor technology is designed to deliver automatic, accurate cooking and reheating without guesswork.

Viking Range

Viking Professional built-in 30-in.-wide gas oven has large capacity and several cooking modes. The convection-bake setting features a 30,000 BTU burner, and the convection fan has the ProFlow air baffle designed to ensure balanced air flow and heat distribution. The Gourmet-Glo infrared broiler reaches a temperature of 1,500 DegF for searing. Other settings include convection dehydrating and defrosting, as well as standard bake. Electronic clock/timer provides convenient timing. The oven is available in stainless-steel and more than a dozen colors.

Whirlpool

Cabrio HE washer and dryer pair features 4.5 cu. ft. of capacity. The washer offers high-efficiency laundering in a top-load design. Instead of using an agitator, the washer moves clothes around with a flat washplate while spraying them with concentrated detergent shower in a process designed to increase cleaning power while reducing wear and tear on clothes. Sensor technology is used to automatically determine the size of the load and set cycle accordingly. The washer also features a transparent, shatter-resistant glass top.

Maytag Appliances

The Ice2O French Door bottom-freezer refrigerator combines features of a side-by-side and bottom-freezer refrigerators. The appliance also features an electronic ice and water dispenser on the door. The freezer drawer holds up to 120 lbs. Four separate sensors are used to monitor and adjust temperature, and settings are selected with external digital controls. A Max Cool setting quickly cools new items and a Temp Alarm warns when temperatures rise to unacceptable levels.
